Alexandria, VA - December 28, 2007IData is proud to announce two new team members. Tyler Spires will be joining as a full-time senior technical consultant and Andrew Berry will be starting as a program manager.
Tyler has worked with IData part-time over the last 18 months, and we are happy to have him join us as a full-time consultant. Tyler has over 10 years of experience in Higher education administrative systems including working as a developer for Datatel Inc and most recently at Wittenberg University.
Andrew (Andy) Berry will be helping IData continue to deliver world class service by developing our program management office. As we continue to grow as a company, Andy will help to coordinate projects and resources, as well as ensure that both the clients and staff of IData have positive and efficient interactions with the administrative-side of providing consulting services. Andy comes to IData from a career as a project manager for land and housing development.
Blacksburg, VA - October 8th, 2007IData Incorporated will be attending the Mid Atlantic Banner Users Group (MABUG) at Virginia Tech on October 8-9th. Brian and Marc will be giving a presentation on software configuration management systems.
Alexandria, VA - September 10th, 2007IData incorporated is proud to welcome Robert Smith to our team of technical consultants. Rob worked for several years as a student system conversion specialist and more recently as a teacher. Rob worked as a middle school science and math teacher for three years until deciding to return to software development and data analysis. IData is excited to add Rob’s technical experience as well as his practical experience as an educator to our team.
Lawrenceville, NJ - August 5th, 2007Rider University went live with the completed upgrade of Datatel’s release 18. The staff at Rider worked very hard for several months to prepare for the transition. IData was pleased to have one of our technical consultants, David McAndrews, work closely with their team for the last 3 months. David provided custom development, troubleshooting, and training to assist in the upgrade.
Winston-Salem, NC - August 5th, 2007IData Incorporated has partnered with Residential Management Systems (RMS) to develop a robust integration between Winston-Salem State University’s Banner system and the RMS Housing application.
Alexandria, VA - July 1st, 2007We’ve moved! IData has relocated our corporate office from Charlottesvile Virrginia to Alexandria. Our new address is 213 E Luray Ave, Alexandria, VA 22310. We originally moved to Charlottesville as Brian Parish followed his wife, Beth, as she attended business school at UVA’s Darden School of Business. Charlottesville was good to Brian, Beth, and IData. In the two years, IData grew from a company of one employee to a team of 8 consultants. Beth has now accepted a job in DC, and Brian is continue his role as a “trailing spouse” as they relocate to Alexandria. Currently, IData has team members in Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Texas, and Florida.
Manassas, VA - May 11th, 2007IData coninues to grow with the addition of David McAndrews. David joins the IData team on May 14th as a higher education senior technical consultant. Dave comes to us most recently from Datael, Inc. While at Datatel, David was involved in multiple devcelopment projects for the student system and reporting utilities. Most recently, David work in the tools and systems solution center supporting all client programming and tools questions.
Fredericksburg, VA – January 29th, 2007IData is proud to announce the additon of Marc Carrion to the IData consulting team. Marc is an experienced programmer/analyst working with the SunGard Banner ERP system. Marc is coming to us from the University of Mary Washington where he has supported the Financial and HR system. Marc is moving to Alexandria, Virginia and will miss his colleagues at Mary Washington.
Charlottesville, VA – Jan 17th, 2007The University of Virginia has selected Cedar Crestone and IData Incorporated to implement their PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system. Cedar Crestone is the leader in People Soft implementation services, and IData is very excited to be a part of the team and to working with such a great company and University. Cedar Crestone selected IData as their small business partner for the 3 year implementation project. IData, based in Charlottesville, will be providing programming and analysis services starting int eh summer of 2007.
Bel Air, MD – January 9th, 2007IData is very pleased to announce the hiring of a new senior technical consultant, Darren Curry. Darren is a programmer/analyst with over 10 years of experience supporting the Datatel Colleague environament at Loyola College in Maryland. Darren gradulated with a Masters in Computer Science from Loyola College and will be working out of his office in Bel Air, MD.
