The Big Nerd Ranch has written many applications, including utility, game, entertainment, music, travel and business apps. They can write apps for SmartPhones, the iPad, web or desktop — and can write them for any platform. BNR has also built proprietary software for many clients too. The following are some mobile and Desktop apps Big Nerd Ranch recently created for their clients:

• Proctor & Gamble We recently created an internal app for them that allowed all of their high-ranking employees the ability to access handbooks, pdfs and company directories. It was so successful, they decided to get iPads for their top 200 executives.
• Cyanide and Happiness Very popular comic strip. We created a native comic viewer for them. This app vaulted as high as #3 in the iTunes store (#1 in Entertainment) and had 65,000 downloads in its very first week and well over 100,000 in its first two weeks.
• Ben & Jerry’s Over 250,000 downloads. This app is very rich and branded really well, including, five functional tabs, with hundreds of their flavors.
• Teavana Some very unique features in this app, including a timer for steeping tea. This is essentially a branding app, with a locator. Teavana’s app has been downloaded over 150,000 times.
