Senior Technical Consultant

Overall responsibility:
Develop and provide high quality consulting services to support higher education institutions in their effective use of administrative and data systems.
Consulting Services include:

• Project management
• Requirements gathering
• Analysis and Design
• Programming and development
• Business process reengineering
• Mentoring/training
• Reporting and institutional research

Internal (corporate) responsibilities include:

• New service and product innovation
• Client relations
• Product and Software development

Qualifications:

• Five or More years experience working in either a higher education environment or at an applicable software vendor.
• In depth functional and technical knowledge of one or more major higher education ERP system (Datatel Colleague, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, or SunGard Higher Ed – formerly SCT Banner)
• Database experience with Oracle, Unidata, or SQL Server.
• Programming experience in PL/SQL, People Tools, Envision, or other industry standard languages and methods.
• Reporting or Data warehouse experience.

Travel:

Much of our work is done remotely, however travel can vary by project and client. Typical travel is between 10% and 50%.
