September 12, 2025 - IData and the Data Cookbook will be sponsoring the upcoming North East Association for Institutional Research (NEAIR) Conference. On November 10th at 5pm Eastern, IData will be holding a session "Setting Goals & Creating Your Data Governance Roadmap". In this session, Brian Parish of IData will cover best practices for creating your data governance roadmap and discuss:
* Current-state data governance assessment strategies
* Developing data governance recommendations
* Defining the scope and prioritizing which recommendations to implement
* Defining the scope(s) of your data governance initiative with prioritization
* Building an actionable data governance plan and moving from planning to doing
* Maintaining momentum and buy-in
* Measuring success and return-on-investment
We will also be doing another brief session on the Data Cookbook, our data governance, data intelligence, and data catalog solution.
